Import a Schedule
How to import a Project Schedule from Microsoft Project, Primavera, or an Ingenious-formatted Excel file.
Overview
Schedules can be imported into INGENIOUS.BUILD as a new schedule or into an existing one. Multiple imported files can also be combined into a single schedule.
Prerequisites

When a project is created, the system automatically generates a Project Schedule. You can import into this existing schedule or create a new one using the steps below.
Process
Import as a new schedule

Navigate to the Schedule module.

Click Create New Schedule in the top-right corner.

Select Import Schedule, then drag and drop the file into the upload area.

Toggle Autolink Analytical Milestones to auto-set them as the first and last milestones in the imported schedule.

Click Import.

Note: The platform supports importing up to 30 MB of data. To import more, contact INGENIOUS.BUILD Support using the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the platform.
Fields populated on import
If the file is formatted properly, the following fields populate in the schedule:

Import into an existing schedule
To import into an existing schedule (such as the system-generated Project Schedule):

Open the schedule and click Edit.

Click the ellipsis at the top right and select Import Schedule.

Follow the upload steps above.
Loading from a template
Beyond the three supported import formats, you can also select Add Schedule Template to apply a predefined template set up by your Administrator.
