Introduction to Meetings
An overview of the INGENIOUS.BUILD Meetings module, its structure, and how it fits with other modules.
Overview
The Meetings module in INGENIOUS.BUILD is used to plan, run, and document project meetings. Each meeting is organized under Categories, Topics, and Discussion Items, and can be linked to tasks and milestones for accountability. Meeting minutes can be exported as PDF and shared with attendees.

Administrators can configure default workspace-level meeting settings (such as status assignments and whether multiple discussion items can be added under a topic).
-
If allowed by the administrator, these settings can also be adjusted on a per-meeting basis.
Templates
-
Meeting templates standardize meeting structures across a workspace.
-
Templates let teams prepare and run meetings faster while keeping the format consistent for documentation and compliance purposes.
Structured meeting organization
Meetings use a tiered structure:
-
Categories — top-level groupings within a meeting.
-
Topics — subjects discussed under each category.
-
Discussion Items — the individual points captured under each topic.
Task and milestone integration
-
Discussion items can be linked to Tasks for follow-up accountability.
-
Tasks and milestones from other parts of the platform can be referenced within the meeting.
Attendee management
-
Attendees can be checked or unchecked during the meeting to keep an accurate record of who was present.
Historical record
-
Meetings capture snapshots of past discussions, providing a full history of decisions and topics covered.
Distribution
-
Meeting minutes can be exported as a PDF and shared with attendees and other members, whether they were present or not.
