What happens when I invite an external contact to collaborate on INGENIOUS.BUILD?

Collaborate for free with subcontractors, general contractors, architects/engineers, owners, owner reps, and vendors on INGENIOUS.BUILD.

Overview

With INGENIOUS.BUILD, you can easily expand your team and collaborate with external trade partners—completely free of charge. Our platform allows you to invite contacts to join your projects, creating a streamlined process for managing and collaborating with all stakeholders.

Process

Inviting an external contact to collaborate on INGENIOUS.BUILD

  1. Once you have your Contact added through the left-hand navigation > Contacts, the best way to invite an external contact is through Project Directory within a project.

  2. In the Project that you would like to invite your external contact to, navigate to Project Team/Directory in the lefthand navigation bar.

  3. Click + Add Project Members in the top right corner, then invite the contact you want to add

  4. The collaborator will get an email invitation from postmaster@mail.ingenious.build with a link to sign up for INGENIOUS.BUILD.

    If they do not, please advise them to check in their SPAM folder, and make sure to add us into their Contacts list after that to ensure they get all Ingenious communications.

  5. The invited collaborator will follow the link to set up their own workspace.

  6. When accepting via email, they will be prompted to enter their name, email, phone number, and to create a password to create their workspace.

  7. The new user will then be taken directly to the dashboard of the project that they were invited to collaborate on.
